WoodMatic comes to BIFE-SIM 2023 with the most affordable 6-sided drilling CNC

WoodMatic, the sole distributor of KDT Machinery in Romania, will be present from September 21-24, 2023 at the BIFE-SIM fair to be held at Romexpo, Bucharest. Machinery for small and medium-sized workshops as well as equipment for large-scale industrial production will be exhibited on an area of 400 m². KDT's most affordable CNC 6-sided drilling machine will also be presented at the fair, with the price for the first 5 units sold being 29.900 euro + VAT. The motto with which the WoodMatic team will present itself at this year's edition is KDT - The New Game Changer, referring to the CNC machine price revolution started by the big Asian manufacturer in Europe.

KDT Machinery is Asia's largest manufacturer of machinery for the furniture industry, with major production and research bases in China, South Korea and Italy. The company's portfolio includes machinery for smaller manufacturers as well as complete and complex solutions for large players in the industry, automated production lines and turnkey factories.

The machines to be seen at work on the WoodMatic stand at BIFE-SIM 2023

Here are some of the machines on the stand:

• KD-610R6-sided drilling CNC. The machine is equipped with a 3.5 kW top milling unit and the drilling groups are arranged as follows: top, 10 vertical + 8 horizontal and bottom, 9 vertical. With these groups, all 6 sides of the panel will be processed very quickly. The feed speed of the clamps is 100 m/min. Loading and unloading of parts is done exclusively from the front. Fair price: 29.900 euro + VAT for the first 5 units sold.
• KD-610HZWoodMatic's best-selling, CNC drilling and milling machine, alongside the KD-612KHS. It has 3 clusters located at the top and bottom that can drill countersunk and drilled holes on 6 sides. It is equipped with two milling units with ATC control and 5-position tool magazine. It can do simple straight grooving as well as profiled machining.
• KE-496G, a machine for applying film on cant dedicated to large manufacturers. It is equipped with 2 tanks for adhesive and the feed speed is 28m/min. The length is almost 12m. The machine is dedicated to factories, but also to those providing services for third parties.
• KS-832H, circular formatting in package. It is equipped with twin pusher, 8 clamps and 3200 mm cutting length. It is designed for processing chipboard, MDF, plywood or plastics.
• KN-3710DECNC full table milling. Machine with high machining accuracy even at high speed, high productivity, flexible use of milling and drilling, easy modernization with transport devices and very good price/performance ratio. The focus is on cutting, enabling fast high-quality machining even at speeds of 25 m/min.
• TM 2680WoodMatic membrane press. The dimensions are 9600 x 2150 x 2150 mm and each table is 2600 x 1300 x 60 mm. The total weight is 14 tons. The standard membranes are made of silicone and are 3 mm thick. The hydraulic system has been dimensioned and tested at much higher pressure than the working pressure and is realized with German Becker & Leypold vacuum components and pumps. The press is equipped at each working table with a foil roll magazine, with automatic slitter rewinder and 14 positions. The dimensions of the magazine are 1800 x 730 x 1180 mm, the weight is 250 kg.
