Swiss manufacturer of adhesive application systems strengthens EU operations by opening new production facility in Znojmo
Robatech AG, a company active in the adhesive application systems industry, has officially opened its new production facility in Znojmo, Czech Republic. This strategic initiative aims to strengthen the company's presence in European markets, reduce supply routes and increase competitiveness within the European Union.
The inaugural event was attended by representatives from the local and national political sphere, emphasizing the importance of this investment for the region. In his opening speech, company owner Marcel Meyer emphasized that this facility is more than just a new production point: "It is a clear commitment to growth, customer proximity and sustainable innovation."
Yves Ottiger, Robatech CEO, complemented the company's vision, explaining: "With shorter supply routes and optimized processes, we are strengthening our competitiveness in Europe - while maintaining the highest Swiss quality standards." Importantly, the research and quality assurance departments remain in Switzerland, guaranteeing globally recognized Swiss expertise and standards.
Pavel Holanek, the factory's director, said that although sufficient specialists have been hired for the current level of production, the company is still looking for suitable local suppliers for aluminum castings, machined parts, sheet metal structures, plastic components, as well as electrical and electronic assemblies according to Robatech specifications.
Headquartered in Muri, Switzerland, Robatech provides advanced adhesive application technologies for the manufacture of wooden furniture, flooring, panels, profiles and structures. Their specialized systems excel in the precision application of PUR, EVA and APAO adhesives in processes such as panel laminating, edgebanding, profile wrapping and gluing of wood structures.
