Kind-of-way baskets or my guilty pleasure

I guess I could start by saying: My name is Mihaela and I am obsessed with decorative baskets. Please don't laugh, it's also an addiction 😊. I have baskets full of photos. Baskets in the bathroom - for small towels, big towels, cosmetics, toilet paper, hairdryer or hairbrushes. Basket in the kitchen for onions and potatoes, basket on the desk for erasers, pencil sharpeners, pencils and other such items. Many of the flower pots in the yard sit - where do you think? - in wicker baskets. I go to market with my basket. I don't have nets and bags and that sort of thing. I have a basket that I proudly carry around Matache market. I think it's become quite an item of recognition.

I am one of many, many others

When I started to see that there were still too many of them, I looked to see if others had this passion and I can tell you, with great satisfaction, that I play in the little league. Haystacks of wicker, burlap, cornhusks, twine, wood, etc, are widely used, both for storage and decoration. And to show that I'm not just saying that to make excuses, here are a few examples.

Baskets are perfect for pantry storage. They are not airtight, air can circulate through the woven wicker, so you can store fruit, vegetables, food, spices. In the kitchen, oil and vinegar bottles, salt, pepper and other spices, wooden butts, spatulas and cooking spoons can be kept in baskets. Bread, cutlery, glasses, napkins and tablecloths can be put in the basket.

They are very useful and practical in the bathroom. Over the years I have noticed that many hotels use this option to store cosmetics and towels. With these small baskets, sometimes lined with embroidered cloth, the bathroom looks very elegant.

We can use the baskets for storing and organizing things in the house. They can be placed on shelves, on shelves, on the table, under the table, in the bookcase, on cupboards. A basket for car keys or mail, for example, can be placed at the entrance on a coat hanger. An umbrella basket can also be placed at the entrance.

The baskets can hold pots of flowers and plants we have in the house or outside on the patio, balcony or garden.

There are so many ways to use them. The baskets are so beautiful and so discreet at times that, thoughtfully and tastefully placed, they don't feel at all like too many.
