A new Wood-Mizer twin-blade edging circular for small and medium woodworking operations

Wood-Mizer announces that the new EG100 double-taper hemming circular with 5.5 kW or 7.5 kW electric motor is available today.

It is an affordable solution and an added value to small and medium sized saw models such as LT10, LT15, LT20 or similar sizes"says Krzysztof Kropidlowski, Sales Director of Wood-Mizer Industries in Poland. "Using a circular edging machine is the easiest way to increase the productivity of your saw, and with the EG100, it's even more affordable". This model cuts planks up to 50 mm thick and 520 mm wide into planks up to 300 mm wide.

Standard specifications include two circular blades; one is fixed and the other is adjustable. The distance between the blades is manually adjusted. Entry and exit rollers keep the planks straight during shearing.

As an option, the new EG100 double-fed hemming circular can be equipped with a 14 hp gas engine.

New model EG100 further expands the already wide range of Wood-Mizer edging circular saws, which includes the models EG250, EG300 and EG350, as well as the new industrial TITAN circular saws. The EG300 is very popular for semi-industrial applications due to its robust construction features and flexible design. The EG300 circular can be easily configured for multi-blade applications with a total of five circular blades.

  • To have had in my time such a tool ehii there was such a thing but they were very dangerous anytime a big axe could be thrown back to the worker. Such accidents were frequent and you had to wear the right equipment and a belly pan to avoid being pierced by splinters.
