FUN at EXPOWOOD Ateliere 2019!

Everything for all wood industry entrepreneurs! This is the promise that the EXPOWOOD International Trade Fair for Professional Equipment and Technologies makes to its visitors! This year diversity is the motto of the exhibition!

Thus, on an area of over 2000 square meters, both indoors and outdoors, EXPOWOOD exhibitors will present a wide range of products and services dedicated to the wood processing industry.

Here's what you'll find at EXPOWOOD Workshops 2019 and which companies will be providing it:

Forestry machinery, equipment and supplies:

  1. SP Stroia Product, Timisoara
  2. Delmar Wood, Brasov
  3. Alser Forest, Săcele/Brașov
  4. Irum, Reghin
  5. If Const, Sibiu

Alser Forest, a traditional Expowood exhibitor, will be bringing a Komatsu 845 forwarder and a range of firewood processing equipment to the fair.
"Our mission for Expowood is to promote forwarderers in Romania, to get our foresters used to the idea. It is a product of the future for logging and is used a lot in the West, in countries like Germany and Austria.
But we are pleased that year after year we see that the market is growing and people are interested in forwardere. Our entrepreneurs have visited fairs abroad and seen how the work is done. In addition, they complain that they can't find skilled workers, so mechanization is the solution," engineer Ing. Albert Șerban, general manager of Alser Forest.

"How else could we come to EXPOWOOD than with CNCs?" he says firmly Dan Pruteanu, owner of Wood IQ. He reserved 42 square meters of exhibition space to exhibit two CNCs, one with a 2/3 meter table and one with a 1.5/2.5 square meter table, equipped with a professional computer, servo drive and vacuum table for MDF and chipboard.
"We want to better familiarize customers with the CNC technology we offer, so they can differentiate themselves from the low-cost ones. The main reason why we come to EXPOWOOD is so that they have the opportunity to see them, to come into direct contact with them and inspect them live. We don't just come to the fair with a table and two chairs, we bring machines! We want to educate the user, show them how this technology works and after they leave the fair they will have a wealth of knowledge with which they can set the right level of expectations. We want to show them that CNCs made in China can also be of high quality, precise and at acceptable prices, not compared to European ones, but not low-cost either", explained Dan Pruteanu, owner of Wood IQ, in detail for INTARZIA & CASTOR magazine.

Another company emphasizing demonstrations is Nika Utilaje from Bucharest. "We live in a world increasingly controlled by software and for this reason we want to offer EXPOWOOD visitors this year a generous space with more demonstrations of the software we sell. This way, through demonstrations, we can show the true power of this software: Cabinet Vision and Alphacam. Other strong points in our portfolio are the Masterwood CNCs, the Fravol cant film laying machines, the Rojek circular saws and traditional machines and the Coral suction and painting systems," said Eng. Adrian Broșiu, sales representative at Nika Utilaje.

One is a very modern vacuum cleaner with standard Bluetooth, touch-sensitive buttons and manual shaking of the filter caught from the outside, and the second product is a battery-operated oscillating multifunctional machine. We will also be bringing the mobile workshop, a technological novelty in the fall of 2018, to the stand," Sergiu Mureșan, Festool Romania representative, told INTARZIA & CASTOR magazine. Moreover, visitors to the fair got used not only to find out information but also to try out the usual tools on the stand. "We will make a lot of noise and a lot of dust," Mureșan added with a smile. "We have demonstrations all the time. Customers come and test all our products. My first time at EXPOWOOD was more than 10 years ago and I always enjoy coming because we have many local customers who attend and we only see them here at the EXPOWOOD fair," Mureșan added.

    • Hello!
The organisers initially announced the postponement in June, then said it would not take place this year. There are rumours that all this year's trade fairs are in doubt.
      All the best!
