Alser Forest, a traditional Expowood exhibitor, will bring a Komatsu 845 forwarder and a range of firewood processing machinery to the fair.
"Our mission for Expowood is to promote foragers in Romania, to get our foresters used to this idea. It's a product of the future for logging, being used a lot in the West, in countries like Germany and Austria.
But we are happy to see that year after year the market is growing and people are interested in forwardere. Our entrepreneurs have visited trade fairs abroad and seen how it works. In addition, they complain that they can't find skilled workers, so the solution is mechanisation," said engineer Ing. Albert Șerban, general manager of Alser Forest.

"How else to come to EXPOWOOD than with CNCs?" he says firmly Dan Pruteanu, owner of Wood IQ. He has reserved 42 sqm of exhibition space to display two CNCs, a 2/3 m and a 1.5/2.5 sqm table version, equipped with professional computer, servo drive and vacuum table for MDF and chipboard.
"We want to make customers more familiar with the CNC technology we offer, so they can differentiate themselves from low-cost ones. The main reason we come to EXPOWOOD is so that they can see them, come into direct contact with them and inspect them live. We don't just come to the fair with a table and two chairs, we bring machines! We want to educate the user, show them how this technology works and after they leave the fair they will have an enriched knowledge with which they can set the right level of expectations. We want to show them that even CNCs made in China can be of high quality, precise and at acceptable prices, not compared to European ones, but not low-cost either", explained Dan Pruteanu, owner of Wood IQ, at length to INTARZIA & CASTOR magazine.

Another company that focuses on demonstrations is Nika Utilaje in Bucharest. "We live in a world increasingly controlled by software and, for this reason, we want this year to offer EXPOWOOD visitors a generous space with more demonstrations for the software we sell. This way, through demonstrations, we can show the true power of these software products: Cabinet Vision and Alphacam. Other strengths in our portfolio are Masterwood CNCs, Fravol foil applicators, Rojek circular saws and traditional machines and Coral vacuum and painting systems", said Ing. Adrian Broșiu, sales representative at Nika Utilaje.

Festool Romania will be present, as every year, at the EXPOWOOD fair, together with one of the local distributors. Moreover, Festool has chosen to launch two new products on the market here!
"At EXPOWOOD we will present, for the first time, some new products, which we will launch right at the fair. This is a very modern vacuum cleaner with standard Bluetooth, touch buttons and manual shaking of the filter attached from the outside, and the second product is an oscillating, battery-powered multi-functional machine. We will also bring to the stand the mobile workshop, a technological novelty from autumn 2018," Sergiu Mureșan, Festool Romania representative, told INTARZIA & CASTOR magazine. In fact, visitors to the fair have become accustomed not only to find out information but also to try out the usual tools on the stand. "We'll make noise and a lot of dust," added Mureșan with a smile. "We have demonstrations all the time. Customers come and test all our products. My first participation at EXPOWOOD was more than 10 years ago and I always come with pleasure because we have many local customers who participate and we only see them here at the EXPOWOOD fair," Mureșan added.
