Have you built something original out of wood and are you proud of it? Take part in the #felderchallenge!

The Felder Gruppe Austria invites all carpentry enthusiasts and innovators to enter the second edition of the Felder Challenge! So, if you have built something you are proud of yourself and consider your project to be unique, daring and inspiring for others who want to come up with something new in woodworking, the challenge #felderchallenge comes just in time for you! The prizes are substantial - the grand prize is the Hammer HNC 47.82 CNC router, which we've written about  here - one more argument to sign up.

What should you do?

1. Submit photos or videos of your project,

2. Accompany the above with the project plan and a brief description of the project,

3. Post your project on your social media channels, such as Facebook or Instagram with #felderchallenge and tag the @Felder Group International page.

How do you send your images, project and description? Go to the competition page - www.felder-group.com/en-us/felderchallenge - where you'll discover the Participate now (Join now). If you access it, a page will open where you will fill in your personal details and upload all the information related to your project. Once you fill in the fields (pay attention to the fields with *, they are mandatory), click on Participate now and you are automatically entered in the competition. That's all you have to do! The registration deadline is June 9, 2021, at the latest.

The winners will be chosen by a jury of experts and the feldergroup.com community. Prizes will be awarded to the 10 best projects out of all entries registered up to and including June 9. Go on, take courage and enter! Even if you won't be one of the 10 winners, Felder promises a Felder Group goodie-bag to every participant who accepts the challenge.

But back to the 10 awards.

The overall winner will receive a Hammer HNC 47.82 CNC router

2nd place - a banzic Felder FB 510

3rd place - a portable machine for fast application of straight and curved edging Felder Forka 200 Eco plus

The 4th, 5th and 6th place winners will win a Nr1 toolbox, while the 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th place winners will each receive a Japanese handsaw.

#felderchallenge is not the first edition

In the 2020 edition of the competition, more than 600 DIY projects were registered by carpenters, both women and men, from all over the world. Felder Gruppe's team of experts carefully analyzed each project and selected the 50 best projects for the final round of voting. The winners of the 10 awards were chosen by the Felder Gruppe Community, with more than 2000 votes cast. You can see here winning projects in 2020.
