Wood-Mizer adds WIDE option to LT15CLASSIC mobile bandsaw

The successful LT15 range of reliable and compact LT15 bandsaws expands with the launch of the LT15CLASSIC WIDE Mobile, which combines the features of the LT15 Mobile with a wider cutting head. "The LT15CLASSIC WIDE Mobile LT15CLASSIC WIDE Mobile is an attractive option for companies and operators who need to cut large logs in their workshops. LT15CLASSIC WIDE Mobile has a portable chassis to be transported anywhere you want, allowing you to start woodworking immediately. To start working with the saw, the user simply removes the wings, unlocks the guard that secures the saw head during transportation and balances the saw bed on the ground.

The chassis design is based on the S3-type bed, consisting of 3 segments, each 1.95 m long. The saw bed is equipped with six standard side supports and three hand clamps for log fastening. The standard configuration of the LT15CLASSIC WIDE mobile bandsaw bed allows you to cut logs up to 5.2 m in length. For more efficient log loading, the saw can be equipped with a set of manual winch loading ramps. A standard log wedge allows efficient balancing and positioning of any tapered log.

Another key feature of the bandsaw LT15CLASSIC WIDE Mobile is the wider cutting head that allows logs up to 90 cm in diameter to be cut, making this model the ideal choice, the saw with the highest cutting capacity in the entire LT15 range. The distance between the blade rollers has been increased to 88 cm, which allows cutting prisms with a maximum width of 82 cm and a board thickness of 27 cm. A redesigned cutting head to cut larger logs requires 4470 mm long saw blades, hooked to standard 483 mm flywheels.

Smart and fast wood processing is possible with the efficient and compact power units - the 11 kW electric motor or the 25 hp gasoline engine.
