On April 12, 2024, Revista din Lemn attended the Open Days event organized by Felder Group Romania at the Felder Demo Center. The event organized over two days, April 12 and 13, 2024, was an opportunity for professionals in the woodworking industry to see up close the latest technologies and equipment for furniture production offered by Felder Group Romania.
Once we entered the showroom, we were greeted by a variety of machinery, machines and tools, neatly lined up and ready to reveal their technological secrets. Paul Năstase, Sales Director - Industrial Machinery and Automation of Felder Group Romania, was our host and introduced us to the equipment available in the demonstration center, explaining the functionalities and benefits of each one. The first to welcome us were the wood cutting machines, among them, the machines from the Hammer, FELDER and FORMAT 4 range, recognized for their reliability and precision in the workshops in Romania.
Paul emphasized Felder's commitment to innovation and customer support, noting the extended three-year warranty offered on equipment, which covers electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical components. This warranty policy underlines Felder's confidence in the quality and durability of its products.
The next step was the presentation of the Kappa Automatic 80 machine from the FORMAT 4 range, an advanced solution for precise panel cutting. The equipment is ideal for workshops where a high degree of automation and efficiency is desired.
In addition, Paul highlighted the various drilling and milling machines in the Format 4 range, including the Creator Advanced, which offers integrated solutions for the production of furniture and interior doors. These machines are essential for any modern factory that focuses on series production or customized orders.
Next in the area of edgebanding machines are models from the Format4 Tempora series, ranging from the fully automated to smaller machines for carpentry workshops.
The event was also an opportunity for Felder to demonstrate its commitment to customers through strategic partnerships, such as the one with Festool, offering complete solutions from primary processing to final assembly and installation of wood products.
The Open Days at Felder Demo Center were not only a demonstration of technological strength, but also a confirmation of Felder's dedication to support the wood industry through continuous innovation, close presence to partners and exceptional technical support. Furniture manufacturers were given the opportunity to directly examine the machines and equipment available from the Felder Group Romania portfolio, having the chance to test them and identify the optimal solutions for their specific production needs. The showroom team provided personalized advice and guidance on the selection and integration of equipment into the production process.
Our participation at this event and the discussions with the Felder Group Romania team gave us an insight into the woodworking machinery industry in Europe, as well as the Romanian wood industry.
