There is no doubt that every vacation makes us happy, relaxes our body and mind. Exploring new places, whether at home or abroad, consistently inspires and educates our aesthetic sense, showcasing new ideas and perspectives. A small, cleverly designed space, a 'clean and airy' garden can be impeccable settings for a vacation to achieve its purpose. There are many places that make you want to revisit them, and for the most comfortable, they do. But for those for whom "adventure is all "Hooray!" the destination is always a different destination.
While we find impeccably maintained comfort in luxury locations, a different, more personal model of hospitality is gaining momentum lately. These are non-conformist accommodations, atypical, warm and welcoming homes.
To prove my feeling, I have selected something very atypical. I can't guarantee you'll like it, but it's sure to surprise you. The detail of the design elements in each space is stunning. We're going to France, that's for sure, but what do we choose? A cottage or a wooden caravan?
Even though there is a flat-screen TV in the room, it's not as appealing as this terrace. We stay outside for a while, then enter the kitchen, a kitchenette in fact, equipped with hob, oven, fridge.
Moving on to relaxation areas, sleeping ...
... which are demarcated and possibly "closed" only by curtains.
The facilities are sufficient and the feeling is that nothing is missing.
The indoor pool can be used all year round.
We continue our journey on the Côte d'Azur ... in the middle of the forest ...
in a place that I can say is the reverse of the saying "outside the painted fence, inside the leopard" ...
and when we enter ...
... the contrast with the outside further amplifies the impression of an original space.
The interior contains absolutely necessary 'basic' parts, so even if you feel like doing a bit of work, there's a special reserved space.
It sounds simplistic, but everything is beautifully put together and ...
... complete.
I know it's nice, but I found something else interesting - wooden caravans. They're full of charm and are really great examples of how to furnish tiny spaces with everything you need.
There are such caravans/caravans for rent, and this is one of them. It is very well laid out and maintained, and if space is not a priority it can be an interesting option.
The interior is designed with attention to every detail to make living as comfortable as possible.
Or you could choose a location on wheels, but in a different style ...
... more colorful.
The upholstered seat is the element of surprise, and ...
... the "closet" is not for clothes, in this situation it hides a sink.
Too late for a replan?

In Romania there are also companies that build wooden caravans. A manufacturer of wooden houses in Harghita has in its portfolio several models of wooden caravans, made to order for customers in Switzerland and France. Some caravans are fully energy independent with their own photovoltaic system for electricity production and gas heater for winter, and can be used as a mobile holiday home all year round.
