Miscellaneous - Presentation of wooden houses

Santa's house at the North Pole

Wondering what Santa's house might look like? It was built on an idyllic 10-acre estate and is made entirely of logs that were once trees in the area. Although it was built in 1822 and has the look of that period, the 2013 renovation added much needed comfort.

Let's cut the chatter and get inside. The entrance is welcoming, with a coat rack decorated with fir trees for Santa's clothes, a bench with a thick wooden plank, and a picture of your favourite reindeer on the wall.

We then enter the living room where the tree is waiting for us, ready decorated. The rocking chair where Mrs Christmas knits scarves and socks is next to a fireplace decorated from bottom to top with river stones.

We continue our visit and end up in the kitchen.

A wooden table beautifully decorated with fir branches and cones, Christmas trees and candles awaits us. But also with freshly baked cakes from the modern oven, with 12 different baking programs.

The house has 3 bedrooms. One master, for Santa and his lady, with a generous and welcoming wooden bed, where the heating is wood-fired.

The other two bedrooms are for guests. Santa has made sure that none of the visitors will be left out in the cold. The downstairs bedroom has a gorgeous wooden high-top bed as its centrepiece. Generous windows offer an unforgettable view of the snow-filled fir trees.
