BIFE-SIM 2022 Romexpo Press Release

From 22 to 25 September, Romexpo organised BIFE-SIM- International fair of furniture, equipment and accessories. On this occasion, more than 14,580 visitors, specialists and the general public, came to the Exhibition Centre.

We know that most sectors are facing economic and logistical difficulties, we have been one of the most affected industries in recent years, and that participating in fairs and exhibitions involves considerable efforts, but giving up is not a solution. BIFE-SIM 2022was about smart networking, exchange of ideas between mobile entrepreneurs and development opportunities. There was no shortage of deep discounts, business meetings, objets d'art, spectacular interior design projects and originality. 

111 renowned companies from Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Turkey, representing the furniture, interior design, machinery and equipment industry, participated in the event with the most inspiring pieces and a multitude of promotions available during the fair. 

This year's edition recorded an internationalisation rate of 16%.

The event promoted the sustainable side of the industry and the idea of eco home decor. During the 4-day fair, visitors found at Romexpo classic, modern and minimalist furniture, equipment, decorations, accessories and lighting fixtures. All at super prices. The machinery area was a real attraction for entrepreneurs in the field, but also for the public fascinated by the demonstrations during the fair.

 In addition, they had the opportunity to participate in a series of free, hands-on workshops on creating a home décor scheme, the basics of an architectural programme and key design rules. These were aimed at both the general public and specialists in the field. 

In addition to these related activities, also during BIFE-SIM 2022, the specialists from ILBAH Workshops also organized a conference "The art of living in harmony with your space. Holiday at home!".

On the occasion of the fair, Romanian Furniture Manufacturers Association organised the conference "How to save the Romanian furniture and wood products industry", which was attended by representatives of state authorities, academia, furniture, decoration and accessories manufacturers, equipment and machinery distributors.
