Wood-Mizer introduces the MR250 Double Arbor Multirip - an advanced circular saw designed for high-performance, precision cutting in industrial woodworking operations. Designed for speed, flexibility and superior recovery, the MR250 is an optimal solution that meets modern manufacturing needs. With the ability to handle material up to 650 mm wide and 250 mm thick and engage up to 32 circular blades (16 per spindle), the MR250 achieves exceptional throughput with minimal waste.

Built for demanding conditions, MR250 saw is capable of easily cutting 3-sided and 2-sided prisms, thanks to a removable side guide and an integrated laser system that ensures precise alignment. Operators can choose to install up to three lasers to further improve accuracy. With a wide range of cutting parameters - from a minimum material thickness of 38 mm up to a maximum of 250 mm - the MR250 adapts to a variety of wood species and cutting tasks.
The machine features 2-meter feed and discharge tables that are extendable as needed, along with optional powered rollers and a centering system for smooth and efficient feed. Safety is a top priority, featuring lower and upper anti-kickback devices, a limit bar with a safety shut-off switch, and a hand lever to reverse material in the event of jams.

One of the outstanding features of the MR250 is its fully electric adjustment system. Both the spindle and press roll head are adjusted automatically via the Setworks or manually using a dedicated mini control panel. This system ensures that the head presses down and the spindles are centered according to the thickness of material being processed, all in one operation.
The MR250 uses 300-400 mm diameter blades, and customers can select spacers to achieve the desired cutting width depending on their production goals. Blade and spacer configurations are selected according to individual requirements.Â
All waste material is efficiently managed by an integrated wood chipper, which transfers the chips to the sawdust extraction chutes located under and on the sides of the machine. The MR250 includes a total of eight powered feed rollers - six at the bottom and two at the top, supported by proximity sensors that detect the presence of material and ensure uninterrupted operation. Once material feed begins, safety mechanisms lock the adjustment systems to prevent accidental changes.

Each spindle is powered by an independent electric motor, with available configurations ranging from 22 kW to 55 kW, depending on the production capacity required. The main motor powers the wood chipper, while a separate 1.5 kW motor drives the feed system. Additional motors manage the adjustment of the spindles and press rollers.
A remote operation panel provides easy access to all essential controls, including emergency stop, forward direction, speed adjustment and blade positioning. An optional display on the Setworks improves accuracy and repeatability during operation.

With its rugged design, intelligent automation and flexible configuration, the MR250 twin-shaft multi-blade bandsaw is becoming a vital asset for industrial bandsaws looking to increase production, reduce waste and increase operational safety. Whether integrated into an existing production line or used as a stand-alone machine, the MR250 redefines what's possible in industrial wood cutting.
