The Bratescu Youth Mansion

The Brătescu Mansion is an imposing building, which steals the eyes of those passing through Bran and certainly attracts the attention of those who are looking for "different" places to spend their holidays. When I saw this place, I said to myself that as beautiful as the building is, I'm sure I'll discover an interior to match. That tasteful, authentic and beautiful interior complemented with furniture both old and new, an interior that foreigners who come to visit our country look for a lot. I also like the fact that being a relatively recent construction it is perfectly harmonized architecturally with the style of the area.

It belongs to a young family who wanted to build something special, something that would impress and offer tourists rich experiences. They certainly made a wonderful choice, inspired by the context of the region and its proximity to Bran Castle. The Brătescu Manor is integrated into the tourist circuit and offers an atmosphere of a Transylvanian nobleman's house, plus it has a family story attached to it that supports this concept nicely.

Architect Gabriel Henegar designed the architecture of the building. Wooden beams, romantic balconies, wide windows and large spaces for rooms and restaurant create a very pleasant and inspiring space. Modern solutions were used in the construction of this mansion, the roof is equipped with solar panels.

Impressive is also the work of the designer Marinela Filip who thought every corner of the interior. Her choices in terms of furniture, decorations or their placement give personality to each space. Pieces of furniture and antique decorative objects, lighting fixtures are in perfect harmony with the architectural style of the space.

The rooms of the Bratescu Mansion have a unique design. They are described as a harmonious blend of retro and modern style. Exaggerated attention to detail, refinement and original period furniture impress.

Almost all the furniture in the Manor House is period, authentic, refurbished or reconfigured to suit each room. The painted furniture in the bathroom is in pure Transylvanian style complementing the overall style.brătescu mansion

In one of the rooms, above the bed, all around is a wooden peasant pole. It's a rustic room with windows on three sides, a romantic atmosphere and an open view in three directions.brătescu mansion

The sobriety of the period furniture, accentuated by the floor and ceiling with dark brown beams and panelling, is counterbalanced by the romance of blue flowers on a white background.

It is no secret that Bran is one of the most visited places in Romania. The crowd of tourists who "occupy" it on every mini-holiday occasion, as well as the countless pensions, villas and houses that have filled the area are clear proof. But, because this Manor is a place for those who value stories, traditions and good taste, it can make you come back and revisit Bran time and time again.
