CML Engineering - Innovation and flexibility in wood cutting technology

CML Engineering, an Italian company with a tradition of over 70 years in the production of woodworking machinery and systems, stands out for its innovation and dedication to customer needs. In an interview with Wood Magazine at Xylexpo 2024, Manuel Villa, son of CML Engineering's owner, presented the company's philosophy and products.

Founded in the late 1950s in the province of Milan, CML Engineering has constantly evolved, adapting to the changing demands of the market. With a range of more than 60 different machine models, the company can meet all customer needs, from small production runs to large capacity machines operating three shifts a day.

The company's representative symbol is the beaver, an animal that works tirelessly, just like CML Engineering machines. The company emphasises a close relationship with its customers, seeking to understand their needs and provide customised solutions. Every interaction with customers is an opportunity for CML Engineering to grow and accumulate know-how.

At the Milan fair, the company presented two representative models: the E350, a flexible machine popular in the US market that can be converted from a machine with movable blades to one with fixed blades, and the SCA450, a standard model that has been improved following feedback from a major German customer to now contain up to six movable blades.

CML Engineering stands out for low operating costs, high productivity, precision and durability. More than 5,000 companies have chosen CML products, and the company is constantly updating its machine range. In Romania, CLM Engineering machines are marketed by Woodprocess.
