Wooden houses for camping, glamping or leisure base

France is the main destination for houses built byCasArbor. Such houses/cabins are a common sight in the touristy landscaped areas there. The Sfântu Gheorghe-based company produces wooden pylon houses for campsites, glamping and leisure resorts around the world. For those unfamiliar with the term, glamping is a luxury, 5-star campsite with the highest quality facilities. Glamping, meaning glamour + camping. It's a new form of tourism, popular all over the world, that allows even the most demanding of guests to get close to nature without sacrificing comfort.

Casarbor's ambition is to sell this type of fully equipped and elegant cottages in Romania, bringing this type of tourism to the 4-5 star level in Romania. Their offer is aimed exclusively at other companies in the local tourism market. The company only accepts orders for a minimum of 2 cabins.

The models are complex, equipped with bathroom, kitchen and 1, 2 or even 3 bedrooms. For the short cottages, which have a room and a terrace, orders of minimum 10 pieces are accepted. The houses are well insulated and equipped with electric heating systems and can be lived in all year round.

Top cottages appreciated at Europe's biggest trade fairs

The cabins made in Sfântu Gheorghe are appreciated by customers from abroad, the confirmation coming from the biggest European trade fairs of this kind such as La Rochelle and Montpellier in France or Rimini and Padova in Italy. Since the first participations, the cabins have been very well received, with the client portfolio growing year after year. The very good quality of the materials used, the autoclaved wood with specific solutions for a very good outdoor resistance and the top equipment were the arguments that convinced each participation in the fair and each customer.

The new collection is built so that cottages can be lived in all year round, even where winters are not so mild, like ours. This is the main difference from the older models you can read more about here here.

The huts are raised from the ground, resting on rounded and autoclaved wooden pillars, which are very resistant to rot. The average weight of a hut is 3-4 tonnes, so the wooden pillars must be supported on poured concrete pillars as a small foundation. The walls are insulated with 10 cm thick basalt wool and the ceiling and floor with 14 cm thick basalt wool.

The wood used to build the houses is solid resinous wood. The exterior cladding is made of Scots pine treaty. The treatment is also done in the factory in Sfântu Gheorghe, in its own autoclave, and aims to increase the durability and resistance of the wood to external factors (rain, snow, wind, sun).

Tanalith™ and Tanatone are used for impregnation and are known to be the most effective solutions for treating wood used outdoors. Tanalith™ is the active solution and Tanatone is a staining product that stains wood in pleasant shades of brown. Both solutions are needed for the wood to be well protected. The treatment process is described in detail here.

Upon delivery the cottages have all the necessary facilities to be comfortably inhabited. The rooms are furnished, have storage space, the kitchen is furnished and equipped with all the necessary appliances, as is the bathroom, there is patio furniture. All appliances - stove, fridge, boiler, convectors in each room - are electric. The cottage can be easily connected to electricity and drinking water sources and sewage.

Various models adapted to camping conditions

The collection includes five different models of wooden cabins to meet all the needs and requirements of partners. The smallest is a short cottage with an interior area of 10 m² and a terrace of 6.5 m², and the largest is a 35 m² cottage with 4 rooms and a terrace of 13.5 m². All of them meet the most demanding demands for comfort and relaxation. The installation and assembly is carried out by the company's specialists and is included in the cost of the cottage.

How to order, conditions and necessary steps

If you want to increase the level of your tourist property and consider CASArbor cottages suitable, all you have to do is contact the company here. However, it is good to know that for such houses you need a building permit and all that is related to land development. The pouring of the concrete pillars to fix the wooden ones is also your responsibility. The company will provide you with the necessary plans and drawings by authorised architects, both for obtaining authorisation and for the landscaping. You are also responsible for the water, electricity and sewage connections on site. The technical details are available from the company.

At the signing of the contract you will pay 40% of the value and another 40% at the beginning of the installation which will be done by the CASArbor team. The transport of the houses to the assembly site is paid separately, is 1,7 euro/km and includes the necessary equipment to lift the house. The remaining 20% of the contract value will be paid after reception of the house.

And give us a sign. We promise to promote you. Maybe we'll even see you on our travels in search of interesting topics for wood lovers.
