FREE SEMINAR Felder Gruppe Romania: European Funds for Woodworking Business 2021 - 25 August 2021

Furniture producers can obtain this autumn up to €200,000 in non-repayable aid through a line of European funds proposed by the National Rural Development Programme (NRDP) for the transitional period 2021-2022.

Measure PNDR 6.4 aims at stimulating the rural business environment, contributing to an increase in the number of non-agricultural activities in rural areas, as well as to the development of existing non-agricultural activities; creating jobs, increasing the income of the rural population, reducing the disparities between rural and urban areas, giving priority to production activities, tourism and leisure services, and medical services.

Production areas, such as wood processing, are likely to score the highest under measure 6.4. Another advantage of the funding is that for these activities, the co-financing amount is only 10%, while the support intensity is 90%. Also, PNDR measure 6.4 is also permissive in terms of eligible expenditure, so it can include not only machinery for processing, but also services and other goods for the business.

Felder Gruppe Romania is preparing a free seminar dedicated to furniture manufacturers who want to develop a business using funding from measure 6.4.
