Wood-Mizer at LIGNA 2017

With many new products debuting in the global wood industry, LIGNA 2017 was very important for Wood-Mizer and the largest international woodworking exhibition did not disappoint - it was the best Wood-Mizer experience at LIGNA in the last 10 years.

At LIGNA 2017, Wood-Mizer premiered several new products, the TITAN wide web bandsaw range, a new version of the popular WB2000 bandsaw, a new line of LX double rail bandsaws for professional bandsaw operators, plus a firewood processor and a pallet dismantler. These new products were in addition to the traditional stationary and mobile bandsaws on display and the HR700 multi-slat bandsaw with carousel systemhe for the return of the prisms.

Wood-Mizer's wide range of bandsaw blades and blade maintenance equipment was also represented and new blade technologies were demonstrated, such as the new VORTEX saw blade with sawdust removal on the HR700 slitting bandsaw and the new LX450 bandsaw.

Wood-Mizer TOOLS - a product range of circular saw blades, framing saw blades, planer knives, broadcloth saw blades and more - originally debuted at LIGNA 2015, and after two years of development, the TOOLS brand has made an even stronger impression by allocating an extensive space on the show stand.

The Wood-Mizer staff at the stand averaged 25 people, covering at least 7 languages, to communicate with the range of international visitors. The diversity of new and popular products on the presentation stand led to a steady flow of visitors throughout the week. Groups from Ukraine, Iran, Chile, France, Latvia, South Africa, Mexico, Myanmar and other countries stopped specifically at the Wood-Mizer presentation stand to see the new products. Wood-Mizer staff felt that the questions asked were the best in years, in terms ofve their quantity and quality.

Wood-Mizer CEO Richard Vivers attended LIGNA 2017, and his comments provide an inside look at the company's new products and vision -

"We've been coming to LIGNA for as long as I can remember. This year we are showing several new products at LIGNA. Over the years, we have worked hard to develop and launch new products and to expand our offer. The biggest change (and I mean that literally) that customers can see at Wood-Mizer at LIGNA 2017 is the TITAN product family that we are introducing for the first time this year - a range of industrial woodworking equipment, including wide-blade band saws
